With experience of NT, 2000, 2003 and 2008 platforms amicitia can support and maintain an existing infrastructure or migrate to a new platform.  Physically installing Windows, Exchange or Small Business Server can take just a matter of hours; however it is the design and configuration that sets a good implementation apart from a bad one, which is why amicitia employ strict documentation from pre-sales through to delivery and engage our customers in making technology choices throughout.  For example take a user that wants local data backed up from their PC or laptop, this could be achieved through a roaming profile or synchronised files, both features in built with Windows 2008 server (and earlier versions).  The right solution will be based on the users working patterns and preferences though.

Other standard technologies amicitia leverage for our customers’ benefits would include RPC over https, which allows a full Outlook client to work remotely without the need for a VPN, and Outlook Web Access, which allows a user to access their Outlook mailbox from any PC with an internet connection.
