Following reports of a web mail scam affecting users of Yahoo, Gmail & Hotmail accounts, it has now been suggested that the issue could have been caused by malware or a virus that logs key strokes, as reported by the BBC.
General advice provided includes ensuring that passwords are refreshed and anti-virus software is checked to be up to date. This is good advice in any case.
